Fast & Effective
Ketamine Infusions can help individuals find relief within hours of treatment.
Ketamine is an anesthetic that was developed in the early 1960's. It is one of the most widely used drugs in modern medicine, and is on the World Health Organization's List of Essential Medicines. While it has a variety of uses, it is approved by the FDA as an anesthetic. Due to it's strong safety profile, Ketamine is frequently used in surgical settings. Ketamine Infusion Therapy is considered "off-label." It is estimated that nearly 1/4 of all prescription medications in the US are prescribed "off-label."
With an effectiveness of 60-80%, Ketamine has been proven to stimulate neuron growth in the brain in as quickly as one hour. Many scientists studying Ketamine are focusing on the neurotransmitter, glutamate, which plays an important role in neural activation and helps the brain repair damaged neurons affected by stress and mental illness.

If needed, we an adjust the treatment accordingly to maximize benefits. After the infusion, you may notice positive effects as soon as 30 minutes post-infusion, but typically improvements begin several hours post-treatment.
Please avoid all solid food for 6 hours prior to your Ketamine Infusion. You may drink clear liquids up until 3 hours before your infusion.
There are drugs, both legal and illicit, that can interfere with the effectiveness of Ketamine. Please be sure to inform us of all drugs you take. If necessary, we will work with your prescribing physician in coordinating your care.

After a series of infusions, some people could remain symptom free for several months or longer. Booster Infusions are available when needed.
More than this, When physical symptoms are relieved, it can also trigger a dramatic improvement in mood and help clients feel healthy, function normally and stop feeling negatively towards themselves. Even if some symptoms begin to return, many find they are more resilient and are able to overcome them with ease.
The most common side effects of Ketamine Infusions are mild nausea, drowsiness and a temporary increase in blood pressure. Our staff closely monitor you throughout the course of the infusion and are able to alleviate these adverse situations with corrective medications.
