The Space:

Our state-of-the-art facility blends luxury conveniences and cutting-edge medicine. The infusion space, which includes comfortable power recliners, dimmed lights and soothing music create a spa-like, calming experience. Our goal is to make you as comfortable as possible. Other amenities include optional warmed blankets, eye mask, headphones or ear-plugs, and a snack or beverage once you are recovered.

Intake:

. At or before your arrival to our facility, you will complete paperwork to provide information on your health and treatment history, as well as complete a mood assessment. We will ask that you do not eat or drink hours before arriving for your infusion. Once checked-in to your infusion room, your practitioner will also review this information with you and happily answer all of your questions/concerns. They will then give you a brief physical exam, including taking your vital signs (standard procedure).

During Your Infusion:

Once you are comfortable, a individually-tailored dose is administered via an IV. You are welcome to have a support person present in the room if desired. If you are under the care of a therapist in the facility, you are also able to schedule to have them present during your infusion, as they can offer grounding techniques and be there to assist you in processing the experience. (We recommend that your guests avoid conversing with you unless you initiate conversation.)

The typical Ketamine Infusion is 45-50 minutes long. In this clinical setting and with the correct dosage, most experience a "deep relaxation" and for some, mild dissociative effects. If at any time these are bothersome, the practitioner can stop the infusion, as these effects wear of fairly quickly.

After Your Infusion:

After your infusion, the medication generally wears off quickly, but you may stay and rest until you are ready to go home with your support person. You will need someone to drive you home from your infusion and to stay with you for 24 hours after your infusion. You also cannot drive for 24 hours after the infusion, but you can return to other normal daily activities as you feel able. You will receive periodic assessment via phone or client portal to assess and provide ongoing support.
